How to install and use YUM? Print this Article
YUM is pre-installed on your dedicated virtual server. YUM has many uses, the basis use is software installation. You can use YUM via SSH.
To install a new software type the command "yum install PKGNAME (type the software name in the place PKGNAME)" in SSH. To remove a software type the command "yum remove PKGNAME".
